CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — A 44-year-old Charlottetown man has been charged after refusing to provide a breath.
At about 11:30 p.m. on Friday, July 31, Charlottetown police responded to a complaint of a possible impaired driver on Grafton Street.
Police were able to locate the suspect vehicle and performed a traffic stop, where they determined the driver was impaired by alcohol and placed the man under arrest.
He was brought back to the police station and refused to provide breath samples.
He was charged with refusal to provide a breath sample upon demand and will appear in provincial court at a later date.
