CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — A 41-year-old Charlottetown man faces several charges after police found him inside a stolen vehicle last week.

City police officers noticed a suspicious vehicle on Queen Street on Friday at 11:30 p.m. Officers queried the licence plate, which came back as stolen.

The driver of the vehicle was arrested and taken into custody. Other stolen property was located during the investigation.

The man is charged with two counts of possession of property obtained by a crime, failure to comply with an undertaking and breaching his probation.

He was released on conditions and will appear in provincial court at a later date.
