Charlottetown man charged with multiple thefts from vehicles

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - Charlottetown police have charged a 25-year-old man with multiple theft from vehicle offences.

The offences took place between Sept. 25 and Oct. 3.

The accused Charlottetown man has been remanded into custody and will appear in provincial court next week.

Police remind people to take precautions and protect themselves from “opportunistic thefts” by removing valuables from inside their vehicles, always locking their vehicle doors, reporting all occurrences promptly to police, reporting sightings of people attempting to enter vehicles and reporting suspicious activity seen around their neighbourhoods.
