A 77-year-old Charlottetown man has been charged with impaired driving on Grafton Street Thursday evening.
While out on routine patrol on Sept. 13, police noticed the vehicle driving erratically and performed a traffic stop on Grafton Street.
The driver displayed signs of impairment by alcohol. Breath samples were obtained and results were twice the legal limit.
The accused will appear in provincial court at a later date.
Charlottetown Police Services encourage the public to report any instances of impaired driving by calling 911.
