CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - A 45-year-old Charlottetown man has been charged in connected to a theft from a vehicle that took place Dec. 31.
A credit card that had been stolen from the vehicle was used several times at local businesses.
The suspect was located and arrested Jan. 2 and charged with two counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, one count of breach of probation and one count of failing to comply to an undertaking.
The accused appeared in court Jan. 4 for a show cause hearing and was remanded into custody. He will appear in provincial court at a later date.
