Charlottetown man charged after police respond to domestic violence complaint

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. —

A 56-year-old Charlottetown man has been charged after officers responded to a complaint of domestic violence on July 15.

As a result of the investigation, Charlottetown police charged the man with assault.

The accused has since been released from custody with conditions to have no contact with the victim and will appear in provincial court at a later date.
