A 29-year-old Charlottetown man was arrested in Moncton last week after he was found in possession of a stolen vehicle.
Charlottetown police said the charges were in relation to a Honda Civic that was stolen from a Green Street residence overnight on Friday, Oct. 5.
The man was arrested in Moncton on Sunday, Oct. 14 and was returned to P.E.I., where he was charged with theft of a motor vehicle.
The man is also facing possession of stolen property charges in N.B.
He has been released with conditions and will appear in provincial court at a later date.
