Charlottetown committee now welcoming applications for sustainability micro-grants

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The City of Charlottetown’s Environment and Sustainability Committee is now accepting applications for the 2020 Community Sustainability Micro-Grant Program. 

The program offers small scale grants to community groups and individuals planning an initiative which works towards the goals and actions of the city's Integrated Community Sustainability Plan (ICSP).

Eligible projects can be from a broad range of focus areas, must engage the community in sustainability and relate to one or more of the four pillars of sustainability: environmental; economic; cultural; social.

Applications selected will receive grants of up to a maximum of $2,500 and must complete their project in Charlottetown in 2020.

The deadline to apply is Friday, July 31, 4 p.m.
