CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - A 25-year-old Charlottetown man was arrested and charged with two counts of theft under $5,000 and two counts of breach of probation in connection to the thefts of two poppy donation cans.
The first theft occurred Nov. 3 from a business located on Great George Street. A second theft occurred Nov. 7 from a business on St. Peters Road.
The thefts were captured on video surveillance and the suspect identified by investigators working both cases.
The accused was released pending his appearance in provincial court at a later date.
