CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — A 39-year-old Summerside man caught driving at night with no headlights was charged with impaired driving Friday.
Around 2:25 a.m. Aug. 16, an officer with Charlottetown Police Services pulled over a vehicle approaching on Belvedere Avenue with no lights on.
The officer determined the man was impaired by alcohol and charged him with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
The accused with appear in provincial court at a later date.
Charlottetown Police Services encourage the public to call 911 and report any instances of impaired driving.
