Canadian Red Cross aids pair after fire in Montague

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - Two people have been forced temporarily from their home in eastern P.E.I. because of a damage from a chimney fire last evening.

Disaster volunteers with the Canadian Red Cross have arranged emergency lodging and meals for the two adults until repairs can be made.

Neither was injured from the fire, reported shortly after 5 p.m. Thursday on St. Mary's Road East, about 12 kilometres southeast of Montague.
