One of the most popular artists in country music is coming to the Brackley Drive-In.
Garth Brooks will perform live in Fort Worth, Tx., on Saturday, June 27, a show that will be simulcast to drive-ins across North America.
Bob Boyle, who owns the Brackley Drive-In, said it will be the first show that will be broadcast on the new second screen at the drive-in.
Boyle added that it’s exciting to have some new content to show.
Due to health guidelines around physical distancing, Boyle said this show will function in the same way he’s been showing movies so far, with about eight to 10 feet between cars.
For now, the show will only be shown on the new screen. That will allow Boyle to get 100 cars in. If there is sufficient demand, Boyle said he will also broadcast the concert on the original screen.
Admission is $100 per vehicle but Boyle said it was Ticketmaster that set the price, through an exclusive deal with Brooks, and tickets can only be purchased through them. Tickets go on sale Friday at 1 p.m. AT.
