Brackley Beach man causes collision after failing to yield at intersection

An 89-year-old Brackley Beach man was fined after he failed to yield at an intersection and caused a collision near Kensington late Sunday afternoon.

The RCMP said the man was at the intersection of Route 2 and the Blue Shank Road at about 4:20 p.m., when he collided with a 23-year-old Summerside woman.

Both parties were transported to Prince County Hospital with minor injuries.

Police, fire and ambulance personnel were all on the scene.
