Big drop in parking tickets in Charlottetown for November

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - Parking commissionaires in Charlottetown wrote almost 700 fewer tickets in November compared to the same time period a year ago.

Commissionaires issued a total of 2,570 tickets last month compared to 3,231 that were written in November of 2017.

As for the total for the year, commissionaires have written 28,905 tickets up to the end of November compared to 32,946 that were written last year.

As for other bylaw infractions, 37 tickets were issued under the nuisance bylaw in November compared to 50 tickets in November 2017.

Under the dog bylaw, 21 tickets were issued last month compared to 32 tickets written in November 2017.
