It's the Atlantic Veterinary College's 31st annual event

The Atlantic Veterinary College will host its 31st annual open house on Saturday, Sept. 28, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The public is invited to attend this free family event where they can see all kinds of demonstrations and exhibits.

There will be a painted horse and cow, various dog breeds in the Parade of Dog Breeds, farm animals and a demonstration on how to dress for surgery. Children can bring their most beloved stuffed toys for a checkup and treatment at the Teddy Bear Clinic and they can have their faces painted and choose their favourite balloon animal.

Organized and run by AVC students, this event is one of many activities taking place during Homecoming Weekend, Sept. 25-28.
