SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 27-year-old Central Bedeque man has pleaded guilty to several charges under the criminal code.

Orry Neil Nicholas Sharpe's faced charges including one count of assaulting someone with a weapon (a bottle of Windex), one count of mischief for damaging the property that did not belong to him, one count of uttering a threat, two counts of assaulting a police officer and one count resisting arrest.

The charges are from Jan. 31 and Feb. 11 in Central Bedeque and Summerside.

Sharpe was sentenced to serve 110 days in custody, 18 months of probation and must pay $640 in restitution.
