Alberton, P.E.I., man cannot own firearms for next five years

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 19-year-old Alberton man pleaded guilty to improperly storing a firearm in Summerside provincial court recently.

Travis Glen William Fraser was charged May 7 in Alberton.

Fraser was given a suspended sentence and must serve 18 months of probation.

The weapon involved in this incident was forfeited and Fraser is prohibited from owning any more firearms for at least five years.
