Training
P.E.I Farm Technician Apprenticeship 2018 Training Block is Jan. 13 to Feb. 14 at the Farm Centre, 420 University Ave., Charlottetown. To register, contact PEIAGSC at 902-892-1091. The program tuition is subsidized 100 per cent, if EI eligible. This registered apprenticeship program combines classroom learning with on-farm experience, earning students a certificate of qualification in farm technician by the Apprenticeship P.E.I. 

Class 3A
Experienced drivers are wanted to obtain their airbrakes and class 3A license. The P.E.I. Agriculture Sector Council will be facilitating these two courses through JVI and Access. Class 1
Received your Class 3 through the PEIAGSC and JVI? Contact us for information on Class 1 Training that we will be offering. The P.E.I. Open Farm Day 
Open Farm Day is Sept. 15, showcasing hard-working family farms from across the Island and providing the general public with fun and interactive ways to experience life on a farm. The event is developed by the P.E.I. Agriculture Awareness Committee. To be a participating farm, contact Cheryl Drake at [email protected].
