CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Charlottetown Fire Department sent crews to a home on Kent Street Thursday afternoon after a resident believed they smelled smoke.

After various measurements with gas meters and an infrared camera, firefighters were assured there was no fire, said District Deputy Chief Mike Ready from the Charlottetown Fire Department on June 20.
