Two vehicles, close to each other, had items taken from them and Charlottetown Police Services is asking for tips to help solve the crimes.

The thefts happened sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning this week, Feb. 18 to 19.

One occurred on Skyview Drive, the other on Dawson Court. The vehicles were not locked and several items were taken, said a police report.

The department said it wants to remind everyone to remove items of value from their vehicles and keep doors locked.

No arrests have been made and the investigations are ongoing.

To give a tip directly to an officer about these crimes, call Charlottetown Police Services at 902-629-4172.

On the other had, to give a tip, but remain anonymous and possibly qualify for a cash reward, contact Crime Stoppers, either on the Internet and follow the various ways to make a tip, including through Facebook, or with a toll-free, anonymous phone call to 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
