An investigation of an alleged break and enter into a pharmacy on Dec. 1 has resulted in a recent arrest.

Charlottetown Police Services says it got a call during the early morning from an automatic alarm system at Murphy’s West Royalty pharmacy on North River Road.

The suspect was gone, but the case was investigated by general duty officers with the assistance of the city’s Forensic Identification Unit.

A 27-year-old North Tryon man has been arrested and charged with the offence.

The man will appear in court at a later date.
