SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 74-year-old Mininegash man has pleaded guilty to one count contrary to the Fisheries Act of fishing with or having on board a vessel a lobster trap of improper proportions.

Joseph Alfred Gallant must pay a fine of $2,000 and was ordered to forfeit four lobster traps.

The charge is from Oct. 10, 2018, in Prince County.
