A 71-year-old man from Kings County is dead following an accident Tuesday.
The 911 call came in around 4:50 p.m. about the accident on Route 16 near East Point. It was a single-vehicle accident that is still under investigation by Kings District RCMP and the provincial Coroner’s office.
“Road conditions were clear and dry and were not a factor in the collision,” said a report issued today by the RCMP.
“RCMP would like to thank the Eastern Kings Volunteer Fire Department, and Island EMS for all (the) assistance at the scene,” concludes the report.
