CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - The future is looking brighter for a Charlottetown ballfield after city council approved $204,700 for light replacement.
Council recently voted to accept a bid from Hansen Electric Ltd. to install metal halide lights at Memorial Field.
These lights were about $63,000 cheaper than an LED option.
Council also approved a further $4,025 to Richardson Associated for project management.
