CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - Charlottetown police arrested a 26-year-old man Sunday after he was allegedly involved in a single-vehicle collision while drunk.

The police reported responding to the collision on University Avenue at 1:35 a.m. Sunday.

They allegedly determined the driver, who is from Alberta, was impaired by alcohol.

The driver is scheduled to appear in provincial court at a later date.
