Charlottetown parking restrictions in effect for Dec. 7 and 8

Meters are all lined up in the snow with no one to feed them as snow clearing operations for parking spaces took a back seat to snow removal on main streets this morning.
Parking restrictions will be in effect in Charlottetown tonight.

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - The City of Charlottetown's public works department expects to be de-icing and/or clearing and hauling snow Friday night and Saturday morning.

Vehicle owners are advised that the overnight winter parking restrictions will be enforced between 11 p.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Saturday throughout the city at the discretion of Charlottetown Police Services.

Anyone parking on city streets during these hours risks being ticketed and/or towed.
