CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — A 19-year-old man who was charged with second-degree murder had further charges against him adjourned until March.
Logan Raymond Kenneth MacAusland made a brief appearance before Chief Judge Nancy Orr in provincial court in Charlottetown Tuesday on three charges that included assaulting a peace officer and obstructing a police officer.
Defence lawyer Thane MacEachern told the court he still hadn’t received the disclosure of evidence in the case and he asked for a one-month adjournment.
MacAusland’s matters were adjourned until March 18.
He is also facing several other charges, including the alleged murder of Cody Robert MacLean on Feb. 5 in Charlottetown.
Those charges will be back before Judge John Douglas on March 14 in provincial court.
