MOUNT PEARL, N.L. — One woman was taken to hospital after she was struck by a vehicle in Mount Pearl Tuesday night.
The incident happened as she was crossing Old Placentia Road at Trafalgar Drive with another pedestrian.
The road in the area was closed as emergency personnel attended the scene and investigated the incident.
Both pedestrians were wearing safety vests, but there was no crosswalk at that intersection.
The woman’s injuries were not considered serious.
