VIDEO: Firefighters rescue skaters who fell through ice at Halifax's Frog Pond

One of two skaters who broke through the ice looks back at the progress of her fellow skater, as the two were pulled to safety by Halifax regional firefighters at the Frog Pond, near Purcells Cove Road, on Thursday. The two were taken to the hospital via EHS for observation. A fire department official said they were lucky as they were up to their chests in water. - Tim Krochak
