A soldier who worked at the navy's secretive Trinity intelligence centre is facing charges of sexual assault and forcible confinement for incidents that allegedly took place in Halifax and Dartmouth between December 2014 and July 2015.
Master Cpl. Anthony Chand, a regular force imagery technician, is facing charges including sexual assault, sexual assault causing bodily harm, forcible confinement, harassing communications, and conduct to the prejudice of good order and discipline.
"On June 19, 2019, the (the Canadian Forces National Investigation Service) initiated an investigation following a complaint by a victim into allegations of a criminal nature allegedly to have occurred over a period of approximately six months in Nova Scotia," said a news release from the military. "The victim was a military member at the time of incidents."
