RNC investigating armed robbery in St. John's

RNC operational patrol services responded to a report of an armed robbery at commercial business in the centre city of St. Johns early Tuesday morning, according to the overnight report.

The suspect had already left the area prior to police arrival.

There were no reported injuries and matter is currently under investigation by the criminal investigation division.

The incident happened at 1:35 a.m. The RNC did not identify the business.
