One man was in custody following a collision into a parked car that also damaged a home in Paradise early Saturday morning.

The crash happened on Carlisle Drive just before 4:30 a.m. when it appears an SUV went over a sidewalk and lawn and then slammed into a vehicle parked in a driveway. That vehicle then crashed into the home and front steps before coming to rest on the other side of the property.

Both vehicles were extensively damaged and the front step was destroyed.

When the Telegram arrived on scene, RNC officers were questioning a male in the back seat of a police cruiser and he was eventually driven away from the scene.

There did not appear to be any serious injuries in the incident.

More details will be provided as they become available.
