HARBOUR GRACE, N.L. — A 63-year-old man from New Harbour was arrested Friday for allegedly leaving a threatening message on the voicemail of a Harbour Grace Crown Prosecutor.
Edward Gellately appeared in provincial court Saturday on charges of intimidation of a justice participant. He also faces charges of careless use of a firearm and careless storage of a firearm, both of which were determined by Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers when they arrested Gellately at his home.
The accused stayed in custody until a court appearance in St. John's on Tuesday.
