Investigators have been granted judicial permission to identify 17-year-old Juray Dixon who is wanted for multiple shootings in August and September.

Toronto Police say the teen is believed to be armed and dangerous and members of the public have been advised to not approach him if spotted and to call 911 immediately.

In the first incident, on Aug. 19, officers responded to a shooting near Mount Olive Dr. and Kipling Ave. after as many as six gunmen entered a residential community on foot and opened fire on people outside around 6:10 p.m.

Two victims were struck by gunfire and later treated in hospital.

The shooters took off in a white Mazda SUV and a silver Nissan sedan. They were last seen travelling east on Mount Olive Dr.

In the second incident, on Aug. 19, police were called to a shooting at another residential community near Shoreham Dr. and Shoreham Ct. — south of Jane St. and Steeles Ave. W. — where at least four armed men on foot opened fire on citizens who were outside, then fled in a white Mazda SUV.

Three victims were hit by gunfire and treated for injuries in hospital.

Dixon is also suspected of being involved in a series of shootings that occurred on Sept 24.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Dixon is urged to call police at 416-808-7350 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
