CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - The new P.E.I. Animal Welfare Act will be the centre of a free public lecture Tuesday at 7-8:30 p.m. in Lecture Theatre A at the Atlantic Veterinary College.

Dr. Alice Crook, co-ordinator of the Sir James Dunn Animal Welfare Centre at the college, will provide the big picture of the act, as well as focus on the evolution of a distressed-based model to a standard-of-care model.
