Intro: Phase II and Friends to perform at West River United Church
Phase II and Friends will perform a Valentines concert – Silly Love Songs – at West River United Church in Cornwall on Sunday, Feb. 10, beginning at 3 p.m.
The show features a mix of rock ’n’ roll love songs and ballads. The set list will include “Can't Buy Me Love” and “Happy Birthday Sweet 16”.
Keila Glydon and Jeanie Campbell will likely break hearts with tunes like “Love Me Tender” and “The End Of The World”.
There are always a few songs that the band performs for fun. These include “Jackson” by Johnny Cash and June Carter, a Beatles song called "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" and a duet from “Grease”.
