P.E.I.’s Catherine MacLellan among performers on award show

Classified, Catherine MacLellan, Fortunate Ones, Jimmy Rankin, Les Hôtesses d’Hilaire, Reeny Smith, Rachel Beck, Hillsburn and Mallory Johnson are among the first acts announced as performers for the 2019 East Coast Music Awards Show.

Hosted in Charlottetown by Jonathan Torrens on May 2, the awards show takes place at the Delta Hotel in the Confederation Ballroom. Tickets are on sale now

Special cabaret-style tables are also available for the Awards Show. These tables seat 10 people and are located in prime locations in front of the stage. Parties interested in purchasing one of these tables can contact Kathryn Herbert at for more information.

The awards show will once again be available live on Bell Aliant Fibe TV1 and free of charge at In addition, select showcases will also be available to stream live on ECMA TV throughout the festival.

Also announced is the first round of ECMA 2019 showcasing acts. The list is as follows:
