Souris Live welcomes “The Island Summer Review” with musician Mark Haines and comedian Patrick Ledwell to perform on their stage which is now located at the newly renovated, licensed Souris Legion, 56 Main St., on Oct. 21.
Each summer, Ledwell and Haines create a brand-new storytelling set and the evening will be an entertaining blend of stand-up jokes, foot-stomping fiddle tunes, real Island news stories and plenty of crowd participation.
The show will take a special look at the connection between the Island and its Atlantic Canadian neighbours. There’s nothing Islanders like better than hopping over to Moncton, or trying to drive in Halifax. The show will have fun seeing the East Coast through a P.E.I. perspective, and finding the heartstrings that pull us closely together.
Tickets are $15 and are available at the Souris Legion, online at www.eventbrite.com or at the door.
