The Ceilidh in the City is off to a flying start this season with high energy shows that have kept audience members singing alone and tapping their toes.
One special guest who brought the audience to their feet was the talented singer and multi- instrumentalist Keelin Wedge.
She will return to the ceilidh on Wednesday, July 24, alongside musical powerhouse Larry Campbell.
Wedge performs with a number of musical groups is an adaptable musician. She can jump on stage with any group and one would not know that she was not a regular member of the band. A fiddler, guitarist and singer she is a fan favorite.
Joining Wedge on stage is Larry Campbell, a singer, guitar picker and harmonica player whose voice is adaptable to different styles of music, including country, traditional Maritime, blue grass and others. Wedge and Campbell will join the weekly hosts of Ceilidh in the City, Kendall Docherty, Peter Burke, Heartz Godkin, Brian Knox and Brian Blacquiere. The show takes place at the
Jack Blanchard Family Centre at 7 Pond St. Charlottetown. The show gets underway at 7:30 p.m. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. for general admission.
