Cloggeroo - the Island’s Folk Festival returns to Georgetown this summer for its fifth year.
The event main stage, located on the Georgetown waterfront, will be sheltered with a big top festival tent, which will keep the music alive rain or shine while still maintaining the view of the Brudenell River.
Festival organizer Danielle Rochon said the event, which takes place Aug. 10-12, also features a free concert on the beach, a fireworks show, food vendors, a full bar, festival camping, children’s activities, free shuttles around town and more.
“It’s just such a great place to enjoy music and have a perfect summer weekend,” she said “The free show on the beach is always a hit, and for anyone who loves a good dance party, the late night shows at the main stage are the place to be.”
The stage schedule kicks off at 8 p.m. on Aug. 10 and runs until 1 a.m. on the Friday and Saturday nights.
Saturday will feature a full lineup of daytime music and Sunday’s lineup, billed as “An Island Afternoon”, will have more than four hours of P.E.I. musical acts.
Early bird weekend passes are available for a limited time. Tickets are available online through the website, with local ticket outlets coming soon.
