SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. - The City of Summerside has decided to reschedule its popular Naturefest event.
The festival was scheduled to take place Saturday, Oct. 13, but due to an unpleasant weather forecast the city has decided to move it to Oct. 20. The rescheduled festivities will take place that day at Heather Moyse Park, from 1 to 4 p.m.
The day will still include free activities for the whole family. Families can check out the crafts and pumpkin paintings, the petting zoo, dog agility, pumpkin bowling, wagon and pony rides, disk golf, inflatable games and more.
“Naturefest is a great event to bring our community together during the fall season. There are so many exciting activities and we continue to see more families attend each year,” said JP Desrosiers, director of community services for the city.
