The second animal to be profiled in the 2017 edition of the 12 Strays of Christmas is Hunny, a sweet four-month-old grey Lionhead rabbit.
He is very energetic and will need lots of space for running, jumping and twists high in the air. Hunny enjoys getting petted especially if Cheerios are involved.
Adoption Tip #2: Rabbits are sensitive creatures that are quite social. They do well with another rabbit companion and need daily enrichment with toys and playtime. Make sure to cage them in a large x-pen with lots of space to hop around and explore. Rabbit need a well balanced diet of good quality timothy hay, pellets and appropriate fresh fruit and vegetables.
