MONT-CARMEL, P.E.I. — A variety show, featuring many well-known local artists, will be held on Sunday, Nov. 17, 7 p.m., at the Mont-Carmel Parish Hall, 5786 Route 11.

“Once more, our co-operative is pleased to organize another great show to raise funds for Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel Parish,” said Edmond Gallant, president of the Coopérative de développement culturel et patrimonial de Mont-Carmel.

“During the past few years, we have held two shows, one in the spring and one in the fall, to raise money for our parish. We sincerely hope that many people will answer our call and attend this concert.”

The following local artists have indicated that they will be performing: Nick and Samantha Arsenault; Robert Doucette; Austin Poirier and Herman Marché; Gilbert and Dawson Arsenault; Avery Arsenault and Peter Arsenault and friends, as well as step dancers Lisa Bernard and Keera and Sandy Gallant.

“The board of directors of our co-operative sincerely thanks all these artists who have agreed to share their talents without pay for our parish,” adds the president.

There will be a canteen and a 50/50, as well as a bake dale. Admission is $12 for adults and $5 for students. There is no charge for preschoolers.
