The crew from the Ceilidh in the City is back for its second-to-last show in the Live from the Brackley Drive-In series on Saturday.

This show will feature four special guests, including Terry Dunsford, Kevin and Joanne Blacquiere and Larry Campbell.

A musician who has been performing all across P.E.I. since the 1960s, Dunsford has a powerful voice and a large song repertoire. He has also been a fan favourite during the past 10 years at the ceilidh.

Husband and wife duo Kevin and Joanne Blacquiere recently moved back home to P.E.I. to retire. This diverse duo performs country, folk, light rock and is looking forward to joining the Island music scene.

Campbell, who will be doing double duty as he runs the sound and jumps on stage to offer a few song selections, is a versatile performer doing country, folk, bluegrass and rock ’n’ roll.

These four guests will be joining the hosts of the ceilidh – Kendall Docherty, Peter Burke, Heartz Godkin, Brian Knox and Brian Blacquiere – for a lively afternoon of music. The show will run from 3-5 p.m. with gates opening at 2 p.m.

The Brackley Drive-In offers concertgoers a unique concert experience as they can sit in the comfort of their car and tune into the live performance via the FM broadcast at 99.1 on the radio dial or bring along a lawn chair and enjoy the show in the open air.

Admission is $10 per person or $30 per carload. There will be a canteen service operated by the drive-in and a 50/50 draw in support of the Ceilidh Gives Back Fund, which supports various local charities and families in need.

For more information, contact Docherty at 902-569-1133 or Knox at 902-569-3327.
