Pancake Tuesday in Whitney Pier

Pancakes were on the griddle at St. Alban’s Church hall in Whitney Pier, as part of their annual Shrove Tuesday pancake dinner. Fluffy pancakes, sausage and a desert were part of the package. As is tradition, plenty of pancakes were being flipped and served up at community halls in Cape Breton and all around on Tuesday. WHITNEY PIER, N.S. — Pancakes were on the griddle at St. Alban’s Church hall in Whitney Pier, as part of their annual Shrove Tuesday pancake dinner.
