Tulip sale in support of P.E.I. Cancer Treatment Centre

Gena Yeo of Darlington, P.E.I. was one of many Islanders who purchased tulips in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital lobby on Feb. 27. The campaign was a success, with 2,500 bouquets sold - up 300 from last year - at the hospital and to workplaces in Charlottetown, Stratford and Cornwall. Proceeds from the sale will help support the purchase of a new CT simulator for the P.E.I. Cancer Treatment Centre at the QEH in Charlottetown, which is the provincial referral centre for specialized hospital services.
