On Nov. 19, the council held a pancake breakfast and donated the proceeds to the school for its proposed new Flexible Learning Room. This room is designed to accommodate many of the students who are new immigrants from war-torn countries. These students require a program/room to practice calming strategies to assist in dealing with anxiety, behaviours and adjustments to a classroom environment.
