CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The new Trailside Music Hall will host Island folk musician Shane Pendergast on Sept. 17 at 8 p.m.

For the first time, Pendergast will be joined by his new band, The Spud Pickers, composed of Josh and Sam Langille, as well as pedal steel player Isaac "Kinger" King. 

The night promises to be a mix of old and new. 

Pendergast's original music resembles the lyrics-first folk music of the 1960s. As well as performing songs from his debut album, Place to the Name, Pendergast will perform some recent compositions.

Tickets are available at Trailside.ca or by calling 902-394-3626. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
