The Proteus Saxophone Quartet, a high-energy modular ensemble dedicated to exploring the capabilities of the saxophone, will perform in Charlottetown on Feb. 28.

The group, which is made up of Holly DeCaigny, Mark Michalak, Michael Morimoto and Tommy Davis, formed in Paris and has performed throughout North America and France, programming eclectic concerts that aim to entertain and educate audiences. 

Their Charlottetown performance will take place in Memorial Hall of Confederation Centre of the Arts, beginning at 7:30 p.m., part of Confederation Centre’s Sobeys LIVE @ the Centre concert series, which occurs in the fall and winter.

The quartet is set to take on their upcoming tour throughout Atlantic Canada with Debut Atlantic.
