CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Long-time friends and creative collaborators Catherine MacLellan and Tanya Davis are putting on two special shows at the Pourhouse in Charlottetown Friday and Saturday night.
Smitten: A Winter Revue will see solo sets from the performers, a few new collaborations and some special guests.
These will be Davis’ first shows since moving back to P.E.I. this winter. She brings with her a fresh collection of poems, the fervour of a new life chapter, and her ever-unique perspective on it all.
MacLellan, who is a Juno award-winner, is fresh from an Australian tour with a recent release in hand. Coyote is her seventh studio album, a warm and polished effort that showcases her maturity and scope as a songwriter and recording artist.
Tickets are available at Trailside.ca, Back Alley Music or by calling 902-394-3626. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the music starting at 8 p.m. The Pourhouse is located at 189 Great George St. above the Old Triangle.
